Lack of updates to the property. The sidewalk hasnt been fixed in years. The rooms need updating as the tubs are very old with rust showing.
The shower had no presser. The couch is old and stained. For the price it was seriously lacking.

The heat in my room was broken. The thermostat would not go below 22 degrees. When I checked in a turned it down to 16 but nothing happened. The room felt like a sauna. The front desk did give me a desk fan that I placed in front of the open window but that did not help very much.

Booked on reviews and thought with the price they are asking it cant be too bad. Very dated and although linen was clean, the carpets are old and the furniture and walls scuffed. Has seen better days. Reception areas need some paint. Did not get value for money, I assume they push up the prices for high season. In need of proper refurbishment.

Room was very spacious, with separate living room area. Breakfast area was small but had nice options. The lady that managed the waffles was very well humored and cheerful, it was nice to talk to her. There were restaurants and Walmart nearby.
Negatives:
Wifi speed was ok, but I frequently had to reconnect, and, whenever I did that, I had to watch a few ads of the hotel before getting access. There were homeless people in the area around the hotel, asking for money or cigarettes. They weren't disrespectful nor seemed dangerous, but still a nuisance.

Hotel parking was limited and confusing entrance to it due to the nearness of 2 businesses. The shower head had more water running down the wall and onto the floor than actually spraying.
