Positives: The staff was very nice and friendly. The location is good, right next to Walmart and Tim Hortons. Microwave and fridge in the room. Big sized room.
Negatives: Too expensive given that it is only a motel. Better to spend this money on hotels which are right in the downtown.

Positives: Super 8 is very well situated in Yellowknife. There was always parking available, which wasn't the case at other hotels, so I appreciated that. It's in the same parking lot as Marks, Tim Hortons and Walmart, which was very convenient. I appreciated that there was a microwave and fridge in the hotel room. The staff were kind. The rooms were over $260 a night which I find outrageous, so it wasn't exactly what I would typically expect from a Super 8 hotel. Elevator was quick enough so we didn't spend much time waiting for it.
Negatives: The breakfast could have really benefited from sausages or bacon. Some days the eggs ran out, so there were limited protein sources. The pillows didn't have any support to them, all fluff, and the beds were quite uncomfortable. The fan for the air control was quite loud. No business room with computers for guests is a bummer.
