The walls in my room were falling apart, the wallpaper was completely peeling off, the carpet was so dirty, and there were stains everywhere. It was pretty rough.

It was close to the event I was attending, just 2 blocks (all uphill). The bed was very comfy. There is a restaurant (Tempo) that’s attached to the hotel and the food is very good and a Grab n’ Go section with muffins, yogurt, juice, etc to quickly pick up on your way out.
Negatives:
I was disappointed by a couple of things in the room: the fridge didn’t work, the easy chair was quite low so I found it hard on my arthritic knees getting in and out of and the toilet was also very low, and the TV, though nice and big, had poor reception and the TV Guide wasn’t available for the whole time I was there (4 nights), so you had to go “old school” - going through the channels one by one.

There was no parking for the hotel as construction wAs going on right out their front and back doors. Had we known about this we would of never booked with this hotel. Plus we weren't compensated for this inconvenience and had to pay for parking 2 streets over! We were told that we would have a complimentary breakfast included in the price but when we got to the hotel they said where we booked online that wasn't included in the price...we won't ever stay at the Barrington again due to this

The location was very convenient as I was working at an event at the Scotia Bank Centre. I was within walking distance of what I needed.
Negatives:
House keeping did not come in once during our stay. They did not come replace towels and give us any fresh ones. I had to call the front desk once for a batch of fresh towels, and they only sent up 1. It is not clear in the description that parking is NOT in included in your price of stay, that was slightly disappointing. Over all, I paid $778 for 3 nights plus an additional $100 in parking and it really was not worth that. I paid for convenience more than anything.
