Welcome to The Simon Hotel Sydney, formerly the Cambridge Suites Sydney Hotel. Only our name has changed! We are excited to offer you a fully renovated and exceptional hotel experience, served up with our famous east coast hospitality by our long-standing, dedicated team. We can’t wait to see you! This waterfront hotel in downtown Sydney, Nova Scotia, is within 5 minutes' walk of local shops and restaurants. The Big Fiddle, a popular local landmark, is less than 10 minutes' walk away. The hotel offers a rooftop fitness center. Each guest room includes a flat screen TV, mini fridge, bluetooth speaker, microwave, toaster and Keurig coffee maker. Free WiFi is provided. The spacious suites also feature a living room with a sofa bed. Overlooking Sydney Harbor, there is a deck with barbecues and lounging chairs for guests to use. Between Tuesday, Jan 7th, 2025 at 11pm and Thursday, Jan 9th, 2025 at midnight local hotel time (in Glace Bay), you may cancel your reservation for a partial refund. After Thursday, Jan 9th, 2025 at midnight local hotel time (in Glace Bay), you are not allowed to change or cancel your reservation. If you cancel your reservation after Jan 9, you will still be charged for the full amount.

Negatives: The bed had a big ‘dish/hollow’ on the one side. Notified the front desk the next morning and the got it replaced. Talked to the manager later that day and she was so dismissive and did nothing to compensate us for the first night of no sleep! Her attitude about the situation was very disrespectful. Also the bathroom was dirty!
