My recent stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton was marred by a distressing incident that revealed a shocking disregard for guest safety and well-being.
During my stay from April 19th to April 21st, my vehicle was stolen from the hotel premises. Despite promptly informing the hotel staff of the situation, I was met with utter indifference and apathy. Instead of offering assistance or compassion, I was simply directed to file a police report and claim with my insurance company. To make matters worse, the hotel staff repeatedly referred to this incident as a mere "inconvenience," displaying a callous disregard for the severity of the situation.
What is most alarming is the apparent acceptance of vehicle theft as a commonplace occurrence at this establishment. Not once did the hotel warn guests of such risks or implement adequate security measures to prevent such incidents. This lack of concern for guest safety is deeply troubling and speaks volumes about the hotel's priorities.
Furthermore, the absence of any apology or offer of assistance from the hotel staff underscores their failure to take this matter seriously. It is clear that guest safety is not a priority for this hotel, and I am deeply disappointed by their lack of accountability and professionalism in handling this situation.
I strongly advise potential guests to reconsider staying at this hotel until they address these glaring security issues and demonstrate a genuine commitment to guest safety. As for me, I will not be returning to a hotel that values its guests so poorly.
