Excellence in the Byward Market
Positives:
We arrived late at night, so weren't really in the hotel for very long. We had a great view of Parliament we like being right beside the Byward Market. Room was clean and comfortable.

Location was terrible as it was next to the By Market area, which we thought would be really nice but instead it was full of drug addicts. very scary to face all these people with your children around. I was extremely dissapointed

Positives:
Very comfortable stay in centrally located hotel in spacious room with a great city view. Extremely kind, helpful and accommodating staff. Appreciated plentiful supply of bottled water and complimentary snacks provided. Wide selection of choices for breakfast. Fabulous roof top bar.

Nice quiet room with good outside view. Close to tourist attractions and university.
Negatives:
No self-parking, while valets are not punctual. On departure day, planning a long drive, I in advance requested my car present in 6:15am and was promised it, but I've got it only at 6:45am.
Bed pillows were all the same and too small for me. Bed sheets and layers under tried to move/jam each night.
Surrounding city area is crowded with homeless people and rough due to many constructions.
