I like the atmosphere and...
Positives:
Very clean. Decent food. Convenient location. Great linens and bedding
Negatives:
Pool and fitness centre closed. Room heat exchanger didn't work; slept in my clothes and coat. Most receptacles didn't work. TV ancient technology. No access to smart, stream or HDMI. Restaurant staff and food were great, but no decent meat option

Positives:
The room size is big and big TV. There is a microwave and a fridge. Everything worked in the room except for charging plug at the bed side. Coffee machine in the room was a nice touch. Breakfast was very basic but we appreciate it, adding the value. Parking is a plus considering it is a downtown but instruction was not good(some spot had a "hotel guest" sign but you can actually park anywhere).
Negatives:
The main reason we chose this hotel was a swimming pool but it was out of order!! Wish information site could mention that. The facilities are very old. Some updates are done but it is a time to do major reno. Toilet sink was cracked. The structure is a maze and signs were not good. One sign says "guest room(this way) so we went there, then found out the corridor is locked. We also could not find the way to go to the mall part of the building except you have to go to parking lot and re-enter the mall part.

The staff were very helpful and attentive.
Negatives:
Temperature of room (cold); lack of amenities (only one glass in room, TV didn't work well; musty smell in room. We were placed in a different room that was warm but it still was musty smelling. The gentleman on duty got us some wine glasses from the bar. He was very pleasant.
