Positives:
Whoever took the online photos and wrote up the hotel description was beyond creative. This hotel is NOT a 4 star hotel as it purports to be. I would never recommend it anyone.
Negatives:
Upon arriving, we were shocked at the condition of the hotel. This is not a 4 star hotel as stated on any planet. Staff was polite, but hit or miss on information about directions and local sites. Maintenance came up to fi a non working tv remote and said we just needed to push the buttons hard. When I asked why there was no safe, I was told all rooms have a safe. Asked the maintenance man and he said our room was the only one in the hotel without a safe, Restaurant was disappointing as well. Just an all around bad experience.

Positives:
This hotel was in an excellent location, couldn’t stress this enough, feel like we pay for the location with this one. The room itself was spacious and the decor was great. Having a proper shower in the bathroom as opposed to a bath tub was truly a relief! The staff were so nice and welcoming, particularly reception and were always ready to help.
Negatives:
The coffee/tea making facilities were not great at all. Having no percolator to heat up water was inconvenient and having to use the coffee machine for hot water wasn’t a good alternative. Wish Pantages could have this next time, and additionally, there was no milk/creamer. The TV was also a big let down as it wasn’t a Smart TV. Additionally, we ordered breakfast but the order wasn’t correct and all this was made up for by the fact that the location was excellent.

The position was central downtown, which was convenient. The staff were great, especially at check-in.
Negatives:
I had a room with a kitchenette. No kettle or any cooking equipment. You had to request it ( small note informing you of this in one of the drawers). When requested, still no pots or pans. I did get a kettle, so survived!!
No sign for the door for housekeeping, so had them knocking on the doors at inconvenient times.
Lastly, the food option I had was poor.
