The property is in a decent location, easily accessible and it is clean and well presented in both the lobby, rooms and toilets.
Negatives:
Very surprising to see a premium hotel in this day and age have paid wifi - how ridiculous. Understand you put it in the fine print but this kind of stuff should be written in big bold letters. It is misleading for your customers. The front desk staff upon check out were rude and unhelpful. I asked for the tax invoice and instead I got sassy responses trying to explain to me how booking.com works and that I should go and pick up my issue with them.

Positives:
The facilities were exceptional. The beds were so comfy and lovely I almost didn’t want to leave the room. The place is beautiful and a fantastic location (with great parking available really close). The staff were really helpful. It was a lovely experience.
Negatives:
I thought the food wasn’t great. Both dinner and breakfast was mid. The fact that they couldn’t do a simple substitution (I wanted cheese I read of bacon with my scrambled eggs).

The elegance of the hotel and history. My husband loves staying in historic hotels and this definitely fits the bill.
The staff was also extremely friendly and helpful, but then again this is Canada

Though convenient stores were available close by, it would have been nice if the hotel had an area with convenient items such as drinks, snacks, etc

Positives:
Close proximity to Scotiabank Arena for concert my friend and I attended. 17 minutes walking distance, but opted for Uber. Uber was affordable and easy. Our room was exceptional, it was clean, large, and the bed was comfortable.
Negatives:
Slightly expensive for a one night stay, but you pay for what you get! Exceptional stay.
