Staff were friendly; continental breakfast was satisfactory.
Negatives:
Room seemed out of date; grungy carpet with shower curtain that covered only half the bathtub. Major concern was the reviews containing bed bugs and the mixed use of space for low-income and the homeless; hoping that we are not at risk of an infestation as we did not properly check before checking-in.

We only slept in our room. The beds were comfortable. I thought the bathrooms could be cleaner. We didn't use the shower. No Kleenex in the bathrooms.

The staff at the front desk did not greet us when we arrived and were leaving.

Close to Welland Flatwater and many restaurants. Bed was comfortable.
Negatives:
Freezer was frosted so bad couldn't put anything in it. Widows were filthy. No one has dusted under beds in a while. Bathroom wall and ceiling needed fixing and painted. Make sure you ask about the permanent people that live there. I believe they are government funded for housing the homeless.
