Negatives: Very friendly staff, & very close to attractions

Negatives: This place could be excellent with a couple of upgrades. There needs to be a bedside lamp for reading and getting up in the night. There needs to be a place to hang your towels. The towels were great but we could use a washcloth. A box of tissues and an extra roll of toilet paper would be appreciated and the sink drains are slow. Room 2 and 5. Of TP would be great. The sinks drain slowly

Negatives: Very poor ventilation. Thin walls with too much noise. Poor climate control. Dusty. Very dirty blankets and sheets. Had to remind the staff every day to do housekeeping. Even after housekeeping, we had to still remind to bring soap, tissue, shampoo ... Also, blankets did not change during our stay at all! Basemeny room without windows. No safebox. Dirty fridge. Also, there is no lobby in case you wanted to meet someone or arrive early. I believe the major problem of this place is the lack of proper maintenance. Also, it is more like a hostel rather than a hotel.

Negatives: No curtain for separate bathroom with bedroom. You can see what happening in the bathroom.

Negatives: I showed up to the address and there was a police barricade and no sign of the place, it was inaccessible. Apparently there was a fire earlier in the week. At no time did I receive a message about this snd to show up and not have access was surprising to say the least. Very weird they continued sending confirmation messages sbout automatic checkin and at no point explained the inaccessibility. They processed my payment so hopefully booking takes them off being available. Crazy experience to say the least, and I had to scramble to find another room on short notice.

Negatives: Apart from the above , we did not like anything

Negatives: I don’t like that the AC cannot be adjusted. . The water in the shower area is dripping thus water is all over the floor. Just a decent stay. If you just want a place to stay and not too fancy, this is a good place

Negatives: Everything, this property is run by a scam company

Negatives: "Hygie Hotel is your oasis of tranquility in the heart of the action".  From their website. Location was good but that's where it ends! Oasis No. From the moment we arrived it was unclear how to enter the building.  Once we worked it out, we were then left waiting a good 10 minutes before someone came to open the door and let us in and lead us to the basement, many stairs and no lift. Initial staff member was helpful to a point. There were no towels or soaps provided., he arranged them for us. Repeated trying to make contact after that, failed. Bed linen was not clean. You can certainly tell the difference when a clean pillowcase, sheet and doona cover are on the bed. This was definitely not the case. The pillow case was stained and a scarf was used over it before I would rest my head on it. The floor had not been swept, had pubic hairs on it. On seeing the housekeeping staff the next morning we asked for our room to be made up and cleaned. When we got back to our room our bed was made with the same linen and the bathroom towels and  hand towels that were provided the day before, had all been taken and not replaced. Leaving us with one towel and a floor mat. No teaspoons or milk and only paper cups and plastic cups had been replaced. Surely it is more economical and sustainable to use proper ceramic cups. We rang the number on Bookings.com to contact the hotel and finally got through to a woman who said that she would organise for new towels to be sent to us. These never turned up. We also advised her that we would be leaving early. She said she would have someone call us. We did not hear from anyone. As for Tranquility NO. Our room was in the basement of the building. Windows were street footpath level, with flimsy, dusty black curtains such that people could see in from street level right into us taking a shower or being in bed - we had to use my wife's walking stick in order to close the curtains for some privacy.

Negatives: Not a hotel, its a hostel. all the rooms are in the basement, staff was SO rude. we only had the same three towels for THREE nights. coachroaches in the bathroom. broken drawers. filthy, literally not vacuumed in months judging by under the bed. Absolutely appalled as we paid over 300 dollars per night.
