The bed was comfortable and the elevator was convenient

The air conditioning was out in the lobby. The door key card to the pool area was not working. I got locked outside and had to walk to the front door to get back in. The first room, the door was too heavy for me to push open and the trash had not been emptied. The second room, the television was not working and I had to switch rooms again. It was a most horrible experience to pay any amount of money for, let alone $96.

I requested an appropriately cleaned room and bathroom since I did not have a good experience the last time I stayed but the room was dirty. All the switches were dirty, shower was dirty, floors in bathroom and room were dirty. I had to buy my own cleaning products to clean and sanitize the room myself.

I liked everything about the hotel, except for one thing. Very nice helpful staff at check in.
Negatives:
There was no breakfast! The one time I’m up early enough to have it. And the only response from staff was oh there’s no breakfast. They didn’t even have coffee. This was very unusual from all the other La Quinta hotels we’ve stay at. Not your standards I’m sure or hope. Very disappointing.
