I would definitely recommend this...

The room was great. Seemed like it was remodeled fairly recently. Room was clean. Bed comfortable. Especially liked having a couch in the room.
Negatives:
They were remodeling the lobby area and it was a mess. Fitness room closed, too. Breakfast was in one end of the lobby & not very well sectioned off. Eating area was next door. Coffee was cold. Food ok. The hotel will probably be nice when finished but staying there during remodeling was a downer & there should have been reduced rates or at the very least, a warning and an apology for the inconvenience.

It’s convenient to the highway. There’s an excellent Mexican restaurant (Margarita Grill) right across the parking lot (fresh guacamole made right at your table!) They gave us free bottles of water & snacks at check in.
Negatives:
They were renovating the Lobby- putting in new tile flooring. This limited the seating for the breakfast area & opportunities for our group to meet up.
Why did they schedule this work for Memorial Weekend? It would’ve been better to have it done on a weekday during off peak travel times.

Not much to like about a grimy room with poor air conditioning

Everything. All properties have to stay open while renovating but this was the most hazardous, dusty and chaotic scene I’ve ever seen.
Upon checking out, the manager grilled me about our service animal, trying to change a pet fee. When I pointed out the hypocrisy of this when they failed to offer a hazard free entry and exit to the rooms, she was defensive and insistent that the construction conditions were perfectly normal.

Check-in was easy. Front desk person, Brooke was very friendly and extremely helpful.
We had dinner with friends at the Margaritaville Restaurant which is located in front of the hotel and the food was delicious, service was friendly and quick.
Breakfast was what I typically get at any Hampton Inn, it was good and hot. Waffles are my favorite!

Staff was very friendly and helpful in getting us there when our GPS failed us. The room was very nice and big. Very comfortable beds & pillows. One of the nicer hotels we have stayed in. Breakfast was also very good. Highly recommend!
