The precious lady in charge of the kitchen kept items stocked, very professional and sings beautifully. She was very friendly and kept everything so clean. She was the best and made breakfast a delight.
Negatives:
Two young women were being serviced for Prostitution from room areas 132. Having to witness young girls being used for these services is unacceptable. The hotel owners/ staff have to know this is taking place and this needs to be stopped. There is no control over the pool area- there were alot of out siders pulling up in vehicles to swim and then leaving. They were not guest of the hotel.
Blow dryer and outlet for blow dryer did not work and was reported but not fixed
Iron cord had been chewed, sparking as we used it. Shock hazard!!! I reported it and it was replaced.

The tight parking due to construction crew trucks. I was in a handicapped parking spot and I had to move my car in order to load it the next morning early. I could barely get in my drivers door in order to move.

I chose this hotel because I thought it would be a good overnight point on my way to Florida. The location is very convenient to everything. Restaurants are close and there are a couple within walking distance. There are several gas stations along Cahaba Valley Road. There are grocery stores and pharmacies on the next connecting road. It is also close to the interstate which makes it easy to get underway again.
