It’s needs an update. Furnishings were scratches. The bathroom needs to be redone. There was a musty smell in our room. The clerk that check us in was unfriendly

My experience with booking.com was not so great. I booked two rooms through booking.com, but was only able to check-in early for one room. When I arrived at the hotel, the clerk had difficulty checking me in but was very nice and gave me a key for both rooms. When I checked out in the morning, the clerk advised me that I only paid for one room. When I pulled up my credit card statement to prove that the full amount was paid, she stated that the GM of the hotel would need to get involved to resolve the issue. Again, the staff was extremely kind and easy to work with even in this mixup by booking.com. Come to find out, I overpaid significantly by booking through booking.com and was told that I wouldn’t earn points through the hotels loyalty program since I booked through a third party.
