The room was filthy, and there were body fluid stains with pubic hairs on the sheets and pillow cases.
We went back to the gentleman at the front desk and explained it to him. He visited the room and was in agreement.
We checked out without using the facility and asked him to not charge us. He took the charge off of the books in my presence and asked for me to also contact the booking agency. The booking agency will never answer the phone?
I, also, called my credit card company, but they said that they could do nothing until the charges were reversed by the biller. I have been unable to contact the billing agency. We do not plan on paying this bill as we had checked in early, and the room was unusable.

Merril Field Inn
Recent stay at Merrill field inn was poor. The room had a bad odor. It smelled like the carpeting was rotting. The bathroom had not been cleaned after the previous guests, there was a used bar of soap and an empty shampoo bottle and pubic hair in the tub. The bed had some sort of hard plastic cover over the mattress(maybe that is where the odor was coming from?) Every time you rolled over you could hear the plastic crackling and it was hard and uncomfortable. There was no hairdryer in the room. There were also marble sized rocks in the floor The front desk person seemed unconcerned when notified of the problems with the room. He flippantly states they were placing new carpets in the rooms and ours had not been replaced yet. No concern about the dirty bathroom or other housekeeping problems. I would not recommend the Merrill Inn.
