Was under construction, gym was closed, the trash in our room was not taken out I had to have the front desk send someone to take it out. After that I just felt like the room was dirty, there was debris on the floor so it was probably not vacuumed. Breakfast room was a mess and out of most food when we went down at 7:30am.

went online on 9/9 to book a room for 9/14, received confirmation that my room was booked.
I showed up on 9/14 , no later than maybe 4 pm and I was greeted by Matthew at the front desk. As he starts to check me in he says "unfortunately we are booked for the night". I said "I made my reservation almost a week ago , how can that be?". He responded with "reservations are a first come first serve basis and I just booked the last room"
Ok, so now I'm stuck way out in Gilbert with my wife and family AND my card was charged. Why in the world would you give reservations our on a first come first serve basis and allow people to book online and charge them! That makes absolutely zero sense and put my family including a 6 month old baby in a terrible situation.
At minimum I'd expect a call to tell me you're booked and cannot fulfill my reservation.
This was by far the worst service I've ever received from any hotel.
I highly recommend you take your service elsewhere

Rooms are spacious and clean. Ample parking.
Negatives:
Lobby renovation underway. Affects breakfast, fitness center and other amenities. But staff and construction workers were mindful of guests. Work is done only between 8 am and 4 pm. Should be complete October/November 2024.
I have family in assisted living nearby and I will likely be back and stay here. Convenient location and nice neighborhood.

The hotel was under construction. They did an ok job with the breakfast with what they had to work with. The biscuits and gravy were outstanding. Staff was super duper nice on every shift! Very helpful and outgoing.
