Extended Stay America Select Suites - Phoenix - North

Negatives: Staff was extremely rude, made up a story about how I my reservation payment wasn’t made and I needed to pay it and a deposit again but in cash. Refused to check me in, ignored all calls from Booking.com, hung up on their customer service when I had them on speaker. The staff was just as sleazy and questionable as the people hanging around outside and stumbling through the lobby. Escort and tweaker heaven. The hotel brand must not know this location exists.

Negatives: Number of vagrants That staff member Patti was dishonent disrespectful she lied to me at booking telling me that my payment hadn’t gone through even though I had a booking confirmation through booking.com and having me pay for the room again at the hotel when I had a confirmation for the room already was a deliberate willful act to defraud me which is a felony I have proof that the charge to my credit card payment went through and was confirmed at 8:03pm and I didn’t arrive to check in till 945pm some two hours after after my credit card payment had gone through at 8:03 pm earlier that night I am am expecting to be refunded for on one of those charges because I stayed in one room for one night I only hope the hotel isn’t complicity in the deliberate act to defraud me and make me pay for the room I was rented twice because the booking was payed through booking.com directly and not the hotel directly I only hope that the hotel had not directed this employee to do this kind of thing to people who had chose to pay through the booking.

Negatives: Only a room

Negatives: No breakfast no ice no extra towels and roaches in the room

Negatives: Got there at 10:25 and there was no employees and doors were locked. I was unable to get a key card and was not able to stay at this location for the night.

Negatives: Facility was very dirty, very loud and not safe for families. Parking lot constantly visited by people that appear homeless, mentally unstable and/or conducting some type of questionable business. Floors in our room were filthy (see picture), the room next door to us had a party going in it until late. Went to speak to someone at front desk about the issue, but the desk was covered by a steel roll up door.

Negatives: there were drug addicts surrounding the property, people smoking cigarettes right next to the entrance that i had to walk my 2 & 6 year old through to get in the hotel. our room reeked of marijuana walking up, i was screamed at by the staff. i was promised dishes and the staff said she couldnt after i had called to verify before setting out on my trip. there were bugs in my room and my fridge didnt work (the freezer was refrigerator temperature). there was obviously a lack of cleaning done, dirt on walls, pee in bathroom(in the corner), backed up plumbing causing the bathroom to smell of feces.

Negatives: I booked without knowledge of the Area, Traveling for work. Upon arrival there were several homeless people in the parking lot, and I got some really bad vibes from them. After check in I found blood spatter on my wall and decided it was best not to stay here. I went straight down to the front counter and asked for a refund so I can stay elsewhere. I was not rude and took a few pictures as well. The manager was not in so I was told It would processed in the morning. I went about my business found a different hotel that evening. I called several times to get the refund and eventually was denied because it weas only for 1 night? What a terrible experience.

Negatives: Most of everything that the hotel had to offer. The beds were uncomfortable the room we originally were given smelt like cigarettes and smoke even thought the hotel clearly says no smoking area and has signs everywhere saying not to smoke in the rooms.

Negatives: The only complaint I have is the beds were too stiff.

Negatives: We paid twice for the same room same night and no one will cooperate to try to solve the problem. We would like a refund. Hotel won’t work with Booking.com to figure it out. I feel the hotel took the payment from booking.com and told us we couldn’t have the room until we paid again. We would have left but tried looking for another room somewhere else and nothing was available. There were multiple huge events that weekend making it very hard to find a room.
