The whole experience was terrific. Attentive staff from front desk to breakfast attendant. Valet and housekeeping top notch and helpful and friendly.

The downtown area is very short on parking. You can valet or find your parking. Valet was terrific and friendly. But pricey. You are sort of stuck unless you are familiar with the area and where to go.

Positives:
Friendly staff, great location, nice breakfast, valet parking price was a bit high but in the end worth the price without the hassle of meter parking or trying to find a parking spot in the middle of downtown Phoenix. I did like that key cards were needed for the elevators and the entrance after 10 pm, better safe than sorry. The amenities in the room were nice, there were hygiene essentials stocked, clean towels, comfortable beds, and a mini fridge was nice to have.
Negatives:
Lighting, there was little to none in the whole room besides in the bathroom. The room was dirty upon arrival. The room did not appear like it was swept, there was debris on the floor and there was less than half a roll of toilet paper that had to be shared between multiple people. I know I could have called room service but the point is I shouldn't have had to. Those weren't even a deal-breaker, it was the smell. The room smelled musty and oddly like cigarettes even though it was a non-smoking floor. The a/c kept turning off and on all night instead of staying on and if I lowered the temp even just a degree or two the heater would automatically kick on, which would be fine if it was during a cold season but the temp outside was already in the 100's so the heater was a no for me.

The valet parking was awful...first of all you made us pay to use it we were not informed about this and when we went to pick up our truck to leave the next day it took around 45 min for us to get our truck. Those guys were working so hard but not enough valets to meet the Hotel guests needs out... we all were waiting and waiting for our vehicles
