Negatives: Dirty parking lot. Not a nice neighborhood. Nothing attractive on the grounds, very old.

Negatives: The booking process. It doesn’t say that it is a smoking room. Looking back it dictates what rooms are non smoking but it doesn’t say anything if it is a smoking room. This is a health issue. It should dictate it very clearly in the title if it is a smoking room. We got to the hotel and they told me it is a smoking room and they had no non smoking rooms available. We cancelled our reservation and got our money back.

Negatives: General location is a little rough but the property feels safe

Negatives: The surrounding area, it seemed like there was nowhere to walk to for coffee or dinner.

Negatives: The whole building style of the individual entrances from outside, low ceilings, old not update bathroom, old heating/ cooling unit. This was not a good room/ stay experience.

Negatives: Hello! I booked a night at the SureStay by Best Western at the Phoenix Airport. On booking.com, it got 7.1 stars which would lead the customer to believe that it was a reasonably nice accommodation. I had a truly terrible stay at this hotel. To begin, I was approached by men in the parking lot who asked if I was staying alone, (I am a single young woman) and then followed me to my car and knocked on my car window. It was very unsettling and made me fear for my safety. When I arrived to my room, I could tell that there had been damage to the door - you could see outside under the door. Additionally, my room had bugs in it, on the bed and in the pillows (I took pictures if you would like to see proof.) The bathroom was had some kind of rusty appearing mold and mildew in the caulk between the floor and bathtub, which was quite disgusting. I don't know if I just had the bad luck to receive a worse-than-usual room, but it was a really awful experience and I would like a refund. I believe the information provided by book.com was misleading and I'm not sure if I'll be using this service again. I apologize if this message seems pessimistic; but I was truly afraid for my safety and spent the night unable to sleep as I was afraid that the men who had followed me to my car would bother me in my room.
