Very pet friendly. My dog loved the grass play area and I loved that the hotel staff asked me if I wanted a first floor room to make it easierto take a pet out. Very thoughtful!

The room air conditioning was not adjustable. i wish I could have made it a little cooler. It was 112 degrees during my stay. It also could have been cleaner. The vinyl floor at the entry area seemed like it was not mopped when I arrived.

Room was large, nice and clean.
Negatives:
Being charged $250 for incidentals.. that's nearly 3 times cost of room and those deposits can take up to a week to get back.. Also, the box springs had tears in them so my cat got stuck inside the box spring. It was terrifying and could have really hurt him. Finally I got a total of 4 messages before 8am asking me when I was checking out. So no sleepin for me.

Positives:
Being in a more affluent area of Phoenix, Scottsdale facilities seemed to be a bit nicer. Breakfast was pretty standard fare but it was nice to have a larger dining area to eat in. Also, the staff were accommodating enough for my kids, allowing us to stay in the pool a bit later.
Negatives:
The rooms were nice enough but our bedroom thermostat was broken, which only pumped in outside temperature air (read: Scottsdale in summer is hot...). There were a few other minor decor elements that were broken, but nothing that would prevent me from coming back.

Check-in was efficient and friendly. Room was on bottom floor and close to lobby which was appreciated since one guest was elderly with a cane. Staff were very helpful with breakfast waffle machine. Thank you for an easy, comfortable stay.
