Check out is at 11, being European I would have preferred a later check out at 12-1pm. Breakfast was poor for the Sedona area, very grab an go style, porridge, toast, muffins and poor coffee. But I guess with the lovely Laylas cafe just down the road you its a higher quality and option

Prime location with a jacuzzi...
Positives:
Decided a little last minute to stay a night in Sedona during a recent road trip from Denver to Phoenix to visit family... We booked a room here the night before, so the last minute nature of our stay may have contributed to some of the small cleanliness issues we experienced. For the area, the price was reasonable and although we did not use it the pool seems like a nice area (although we did try to use the firepit and were unable to get it to work). The room was spacious, mostly updated and although there isn't too much around in the way of bars/restaurants we were able to order take out from a nearby Italian restaurant (that I may forewarn others who wish to do the same - the hostess will not let you have a drink at the bar if you arrive early.. us and another couple were forced to stand outside and wait although bar space was available). All in all, the GreenTree met our needs - we may have even stayed another night if the dog fee was per stay instead of per night (however we are VERY appreciative of this property allowing our pup as he was the purpose of us driving and not flying).
Negatives:
There were just a few, aforementioned, cleanliness issues.. But, again, this may be due to us booking last minute. We found someone else's iced coffee in the mini fridge upon check in (as well as a dark ring on the sink - possibly from this iced coffee.. maybe the inspectors?) There were also a couple hairs found in towels and on pillows. However, it was more like these hairs just got a little tangled up in the fabric in the wash. I worked 15 years in the hospitality industry, so I understand this can sometimes happen. I wouldn't assume our experience is necessarily the "norm."

Easy in and out with parking and the hotel motor court area empty during the day because everyone is out. Room was clean and bright. Pet friendly. Easy stay. Pretty hotel motor court and finishes.
Negatives:
We requested a first floor room because our dog is old and can’t do steps well. We were accommodated in that way, but it was super loud being below someone. Not sure if it was just the person above us, in particular, or if it is the building structure, but we could hear them walking back and forth, dropping everything, making all the noises where you wonder if they are bowling upstairs, etc. We would stay again for a quick night or two but recommend getting a second floor room for the quiet.

Clean, friendly place. Everything was great. One issue... the beds were VERY FIRM. (Hard). My wife, myself, and my son, we all had a backache the next morning. But other than that. We would stay there again.. just bring a mattress pad.
