We could hear every time the room above’s door closed. Very loud. There were no plates or utensils even though it had a kitchen setup. There were stains on the white bedspread. Our room looked out onto the parking lot - which, btw - pay for parking?! And the view from the breakfast patio looked over a very busy road. Not really the luxury getaway I was hoping for

I had a lot of good experience in Embassy Suite Hotels before, this time I was very disappointed with the way I was treated.
Negatives:
I have requested a quite room in my booking. I picked to Mountain view with the expectation that his is less noisy then the pool view. Nobody mentioned that the Mountain view is in front of a very busy street. When we arrived there was in addition contraction work on the road. We asked for a change in the room. What was offered to us was dark and depressing room with the view of a big wall in front of the window and above the view of the cars from the covered parking. As it was less noisy, we were tired from the long trip and already later in the afternoon we took the room. However it depressed me and impacted my impression of Tucson very negatively.

Bedroom, bathroom, nicely renovated - but sever stains on bathtub below overflow drain (reported to F/O). Pool area nice.
Overall location good for us.
Negatives:
Really, really did not like paying for parking and the process to pay. My recollection of this expense is - hotel site did not indicate? Am I right? Happy hour F & B. Drain under bathroom sink dirty with plumber hand marks. Sheets and pillow cases gave the appearance of not being ironed. The question for an arriving guest - were they clean? was this the plan? Took 10/12 minutes to find the bathroom light (behind the towel rack).The bedside lamps are useless for reding in bed - to short (don't know about bulb illumination?). Lamp (and mirror ) to left of TV seem out of place. Personally, I didn't like the very dark color of the bedroom wall -- or in fact the gray doors.
