The location is convenient to grocery stores and within walking distance to several restaurants. The room was very clean and recently painted. Rather than carpet the flooring is LVP which adds to the feeling of cleanliness. The staff was accommodating.

My wife and I are hyper sensitive to odors and the room had a heavy disinfectant odor. I appreciate the concern for sanitation but but it was a little overdone. Thankfully we traveled with air purifiers just in case we encountered such a condition.

There was a cockroach in our room. Reported to cleaning lady's as well as the Manager. Some things in the room were in need of updating. What they call a Continental breakfast is a joke. Outdated yogurt, no fresh fruit. The coffee is terrible.

The owners are most hospitable and welcoming. Have stayed here for over 15 years when in town

Climate controls worked well. Staff is helpful, and even called me to confirm that we were indeed needing the room, since we hadn't arrived yet and it was early evening.
Negatives:
The furniture needs to be updated and/or replaced. The bedside tables were peeling and looked terrible; very uninviting and cruddy looking. The soap dispenser in the sink area, while looking full, did not work, so no soap at the sink. Thankfully, I had my own with me. Also, the room phone did not work at all. We needed just one additional bath towel, but we made it work since it was late when we noticed. I hate shower gel, and the shampoo did not foam (prob. sulfate free, which is OK). Too many channels on the TV were not available. Did not have the breakfast - it looked like it had very limited choices.
