location was perfect, requested one bed, and was put in with double bed and handicap bathroom,but the charge was the same..

bathroom look clean,but when i went to take a shower in the morning and put the shower curtain, it was very disgusting.....it look like somebody crap all over the curtain and it look like thier was spot of blood. i did bring it to the person at the desk. so therefore i wasnt able to take a shower. otherwise the room look clean.

The only good thing about the hotel was the night clerk, Robin. She, as well as the young lady on the dayshift desk duty were pleasant to deal with. There was not a manager on duty and one was not expected until 1 pm the day I checked out. I left a 3 page letter for the manager with the details of the horrible room 307 I had stayed in on July 12th 2024, and it is now July 15th and I have not received any response whatsoever.
Negatives:
First the hallway and the room reeked of smoke, then the toilet seat was up and dirty on both sides. The bathtub was absolutely nasty, not only was there hair in it, but the sides of the tub and the shower surround had layers of dirt and soap or shampoo stuck to it. It had not been cleaned well in months!! I didn't take a shower in it. I washed off at the sink, I can't imagine having to put a child in that bathtub!! There was some sort of gunk that was sticky on top of the night stand, and I had to cover it with a towel so I could put my phone near me. My shoes stuck to the vinyl floor throughout the room/bathroom because it obviously had not been mopped, it didn't appear to have even been swept. There were short dark hairs on almost every surface in the bathroom and hairs were even on the ice bucket lid and tray it was sitting on in the main room The sofa was so disgusting, I wouldn't even touch it, there was a plastic desk chair that I cleaned myself, in order to have a clean place to sit down. Even though the bed appeared to have clean sheets on it, the comforter was stained, so I slept (badly) in my clothes! The safety lock was broken completely off of the door and was useless. The walls around the sitting area were in really bad shape with badly patched drywall and even worse paint. It was the nastiest room I have ever encountered and certainly not up to Choice Hotel normal standards. If I could have found another place to stay that night, I would have left immediately, gladly sacrificing the cost of the room in order to have clean surroundings. To say I was shocked it was a Choice Hotel, would be an understatement!!!

Positives:
We liked the Quality Inn very much. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was cool, clean and comfortable.
Negatives:
There was a big crowd of kids for a baseball team having breakfast at the same time. There was not enough seating.
There was a sign in the breakfast area to not put liquids in the trash cans but there was no place to pour it out.
