Positives:
The staff was friendly especially housekeeping and breakfast was delicious soft Hampton Inn beds beside that it wasn't up to Hilton standard
Negatives:
The room was cleaned but was handicap room holes under carpet, Safety Lock didn't match up so you couldn't lock it light switch was upside down lights wall plug went all the way in bathroom railing safety railing ran downhill hot water took almost 22 minutes to get warm Lobby hardwood floor moved when you walked on it. They was remodeling on first floor so maybe they hadn't been to the 2nd floor room 203 yet I don't know but it's wasn't worth the price for 2 nights because it didn't meant the Hilton standard or what I was expecting in a Hampton Inn room to look like also advertised roll alway bed but wasn't in room so made the best of it without.

Positives:
I arrived at the hotel and was impressed by the appearance of the hotel. After check in I noticed that the fridge didn’t work, the tv didn’t work and the remote didn’t work. I grabbed the phone to call the front desk and you’ll never guess what else didn’t work. Spoke to the front desk about the tv and the remote and found that the fridge wasn’t plugged in.I went to dinner and came back, now the tv and remote work but still no phone.
After all that was done the first night was “ok”. That was the best night.
Night 2 seems fine till 1:00 am when I’m awakened by what sounds like white noise or radio static. I can’t locate it because it’s intermittent. However it’s loud enough it wakes me up at 3 other times before 5am. Finally I decide to just get up and start my day. When I get back from class that evening it’s loud and obvious.
It’s the fire alarm. The front deck informs me that I should try to take the fire protection equipment off the wall and remove the batteries to make it be quiet. Knowing that is a fire code violation and explaining that to her she then offered another solution. “What about wrapping it in towels so you can’t hear it?” Seriously??? That’s just as bad.
They claimed that the hotel and “the one next door” were both booked. Maybe they’re owned by the same company even though it’s not a Hampton. She takes my cellphone number because the hotel room phone don’t work, but never offers a solution. I walk down to the front desk and even show her the video. She says she’s going to locate me another room and call me back. No call back.
I spent night three laying awake all night long because it’s too cold outside (26° f) for me to just sleep in my truck in the parking lot. Not a wink of sleep all night. This morning I check out and advised the clerk ( a different woman) that they really should get the room checked out before it’s rented again.
Negatives:
I explain all the issues I had and not a single offer for compensation or even an offer to have a supervisor or a manager to all me about the issues. This was hands down the absolute worst hotel stay I have ever had in my life. The hotel was bad enough but the lack of Customer Service was unparalleled to say the least. I attached the video of the fire alarm making a racket in an email to corporate before posting a negative review online.
