Positives:
The hotel is in a good location for visiting sites outside of the heart of San Francisco. It is right by the highway and a gas station is nearby. Really quick to get to the airport and airport car rental return. It's a good base to explore the area.
Negatives:
The level of cleanliness could be improved. I dropped something on the floor and cleaned it up. What I found was a REALLY dirty floor. If I could have found a mop I would have cleaned the whole area. The room was fine and better with laminate.

The location next to the noisy freeway, the toiletries and water pressure were terrible, the breakfast was terrible, I was woken up by a couple yelling in the morning, and lastly the room had dog hair in it from the previous occupant.

The maintenance guy was fixing the room key reader while I was still inside.

Theres cookware and plates/utensils in the room already at this location which is super convenient (I usually go without before spending the time and energy to lug pots and pans, plates and all up to my room). The level of cleanliness was that of a way more expensive room, they have an exceptional cleaning team!
Negatives:
The elevators move slow. Usually theres an hour grace on checkout and this location only offered me 30 min.

Outside looks bad, I was walking around the property in flip flops and there was shattered glass in multiple places along the sidewalks, looked dirty. No restaurants or anything really nearby. Not walkable.
Inside: I got into the room, and the bathroom had many ANTS on the sink. The floor was bubbled up. Noisy in the middle of the night.

Passing information at check in time about hotel and services offered in the hotel is missing or not enough. Got just verified the guest and handed key saying floor and room number. There was not any further information much I received then that.

No idea what I might like since my reservation was given away after I was told that my room would be held and waiting for me.
Negatives:
Person working front desk seemed particularly gleeful to tell me that he had given my reservation away after I had called the night before to confirm they would hold my reservation. I did not arrive super late to check in and had a tired senior dog and a car trunk with perishable groceries. Front desk person offered me a room at twice the price that I had booked my room for. I had to scramble to find reservations at another pet friendly hotel.
