As a family of 4 (2 adults 2 kids) from the UK, the location was great for the Universal, Warner brothers studios and for the Hollywood sights. Very friendly, welcoming staff!!
Negatives:
Unfortunately the bath plug was clogged upon arrival (which was addressed when I mentioned about it). The shampoo/conditioner hadn't been replenished (we only stayed 5 nights) and we ran out. Also the coffee/hot drinks supplies weren't either (when house keeping had been in) so had to ask bar staff for paper cups.

The location was the best part of this experience. I loved where it was situated and how easily you could navigate to anything you wanted. Especially coffee options and food.
Negatives:
The cleaning and hotel service staff spoke very little to no English, which made communication a bit challenging. That's a pretty big issue if you only speak English as a paying customer.
Also the property was advertised as having free parking on Booking.com and other platforms. But when I arrived at the property I was told I would be charged a parking fee. The rates also changed when I extended an extra day.

We've stayed here before a couple times before and liked it previously. Seems like they are not keeping things going like before...no towels outside for the pool, firepit not on outside in evening, shorted us sheets/blankets for kids' sofa bed in one of the rooms (even though they were listed on reservation) and only 3 shower towels for 4 people in the room??
