Positives:
The room was spacious, cute, well-appointed, modern, sleek, comfortable, and just an overall delight.
Negatives:
On our final night, there were two very disruptive guests on our floor who was arguing loudly throughout the night. Yelling, slamming doors, and angry door knocking caused stress and sleeplessness for me and my partner.
We called to complain about the disturbance at around 2:00am, and the front desk said they would note it down.
In the morning, when I asked the front desk to do something about the disturbance, they said the guests were out of their control.
Providing guests with a pleasant stay is very much in the control of the front desk, and the Anza Hotel.
I asked for the room fee for the night to be removed from our bill, and they said they couldn't do that. They removed the pet fee, and the parking fee, which was about the cost of the room for the night.
The front desk was very reluctant to remove any fees at first, claiming that the noisy guests were not in their control.
Just disappointing, since the rest of our stay, and the accommodations at the hotel were so nice. Not a great way to end our experience.
