Crazy tweaker dude knocked on my door like 3 different times and just stood there waiting for me to answer and was banging around for about an hour across the halls all loud. That was the only uncomfortble thing.

The outside appearance of the hotel looked inviting, and the location to downtown Carlsbad.
Negatives:
The room looked nothing like picture with the orange wall. The furniture was old, bed was old, bathroom had exposed pipes, there was half a roll of toilet paper, shower curtain was old and tattered as well as the curtains. The entire room looked like it was stuck in a time warp from the 60's. It looked like it was a room that Noone ever stayed in and they put the worse guests there.

There was no breakfast. Location was great!
Negatives:
People I didn't know started pounding on my door at 8:30 PM and it continued until 3:30 AM I calledthe front desk and they would not send anybody to talk to these people. Front desk was really rude. They had music blaring all night. It was terribe. Tje heater/air conditioner didn't work. Place smelled really moldy.
