Positives:
The check in was simple and fast. The room was clean. The beds were reasonably comfortable.

The bathroom light is on the outside of the bathroom and the fan runs when the light is on.

The rooms were clean and comfortable and the price was good.
Positives:
Only positive is the bus stop directly in front of the motel. Public bus every 45 Min to one hour to downtown Santa Barbara for 1.6 US $. Ride takes also 45 minutes.
Negatives:
Unfriendly stiff lipped staff. Fair WiFi signal. Rooms need a new paint. Bathroom large but in a poor state. Floor damaged. The receptionista promise a pool-view and what we get is a wall-view. No proper window curtain so you must decide keeping the window covered for privacy or drawn open so every passers by can have a peek. No hairdryer. Beside coffee no snack or apple in the morning. Most unsatisfying experience from the three motels we stayed in this week.

The little grass area outside the pool for the doggie.
Negatives:
the only negative is that there is no coffee maker, etc., in the room, so you have to dress and walk to the office for morning coffee. It worked out okay, as I need to dress and take the little doggie out upon waking anyway. The situation forced me to get up and ready!

Located on the Main Street south two blocks from a mall with supermarket if you needed, coffee shops and restaurants, and easy access from freeway!
Negatives:
Though it was clean and comfortable it needs some curtains upgrade.,my room curtains have holes on it.in addition, Some Guess appear to be living there as residents with poor living conditions..,which it is a sore eye for other guess passing by and walking through open rooms! I am not sure what the rules are for this situacin., but it will help to review and enforce the staying policy to prevent downgrading of the establishment !

towels were so thin we couldn't dry ourselves completely after showering. The two bars of soap were very small. Train noise.

Walls are thin and door was loose in the frame so banged around in a breeze- had to jam something in the gap to stop that.
