We like the geographic proximity to our family in Concord CA. We also like the cleanliness of the room. On this trip, we did receive daily maid service. Maid service was very well done.
Negatives:
We did not like the parking situation - security gates failed, causing us to park our car and go find hotel employee(s) to manually open the gate ... this happened daily / three days. Parking fee of $16 / day was waived. There is no restaurant on-site. The seldom-open bar is practically barren of beverages and has only a few microwave food items. The facility shows it's age, as it has become very dated - old carpet throughout, no lounge area, basic accommodations at best, no room service, daily housekeeping ONLY if you request it in advance ... there are better hotel choices available
