The room was basic, it had a nice view, I think the rooms could use some upgrades.

The room wasnt really clean and for a resort wasnt good at all in comparison to nice hotels you could stay in within San Diego. I paid $500 extra for a nice stay and moved my room to the other side for a view that was still blocked on an anniversary trip. There were bugs found in the bed and bathroom (hair too), broken door handles, etc. Wasnt worth the trip at all, I couldve took my girl to SF or moderately moved further in to San Diego for a way better trip/stay for 2/3 of the price. Its also a family-oriented area. Youll have a bunch of kids there so not for a spousal trip. Wouldnt reccomend at all unless your 50+ or just have money to blow. The fridge and bathroom was also unclean. I wish I took more pictures to share.

It wasnt worth it, I wouldnt reccomend wasting your money.
Positives:
Spacious property with very nice public areas including the pools and gardens and outside areas. Good location for exploring Coronado with the help of the daily shuttle bus provided.
Negatives:
Lots of business conventions going on at the time of our stay (October) made the hotel feel more like a corporate venue than a vacation one. We felt under dressed without a name tag ;-)

The resort is so nice! Great scenery surrounding the property. The room was clean, the bed and pillows were comfy. Restaurants on the property have really good food.
Negatives:
This resort is very nice but expensive. I guess with the price for the room I was expecting something more up to date.
