We booked here because of location. Lobby was clean and presentable. We didn’t go look at the pool
Negatives:
Room wasn’t ready when we got there. Staff recommended we leave to eat and they would text us when the room was ready. An hour later we get back to the hotel to see if our room was ready yet because we didn’t get a text. The same staff member said he was bummed when we didn’t come back right away because our room was ready , when I asked why we weren’t texted about it he brushed it off. Didn’t offer us anything not even water. No hotel information was given to us. Upon entering our room we found a couple candy wrappers and a very dirty hand towel stuffed in a cubby in the bathroom. At that point we didn’t want to deal with the staff anymore, seems as though if you’re not a celebrity they treat you differently.

Decent overall stay, location is...
Positives:
The vibe, style, location and cleanliness were 10 out of 10. The pool views were amazing, and the food was delicious. Also lots of cool people were staying there for the comedy festival, so it was cool networking and making new friends. So many cool stories from over the years at this hotel, and so close to every great spot on Sunset Boulevard. Hyatt hotels never seem to miss for me!
Negatives:
No where on the website does it state that parking is 70$ per day there. We probably could've ubered rather than renting a car with the price we paid for parking during our stay. I would assume that with the price of the hotel, that parking would either be included, or given at a discounted rate. Especially since its free Valet validation when you choose to eat there at the hotel. Also, I had a view of the parking lot, and it was mostly empty during the duration of our visit.
