Weird. Not as advertised at all. The rooms are tiny, the walls are thin, the TV doesn’t work, and the elevators weren’t working. It’s way more run down in person than in pictures.

The room was clean and staff were nice. It was centrally located to Universal Studios, Hollywood Walk of Fame, Korea Town. With the traffic the drives were still long, but that is LA.
Negatives:
The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. We got put in an ADA room. That was nice in that there was more space. However, the bathroom was not convenient for non-disabled people. The shower curtain was four inches off the floor, the shower head was not conveniently placed. Every day the bathroom became a slippery lake after showers.
Also, the beds were not properly made. No top (flat) sheet. Just a sheet on the mattress and a comforter. The flat sheet was in a sealed bag in the cabinet housing the fridge. Bag said $30 if removed. Later we confirmed that meant if removed from the room, but it read as though if removed from the bag.
Also, it was $38.50 a night to park. Very high parking charge and getting in and out was a pain.
Breakfast in the so called bistro was prepackaged cold foods. NOT a bistro.
Lastly, only local TV channels available. No cable. Movies could be rented for additional charge. The service where you could use your own Netflix login did not work.

Positives:
The room was well decorated and clean, with you also being able to cast from your phone to the TV which was handy. Shower was good, with the option to let housekeeping skip days if you wanted. Room was a good size, especially as we were just living out of two suitcases and didn’t unpack, meaning they were open throughout our time staying there and didn’t cause any obstruction.
Negatives:
The surrounding area at times looked questionable, but we were rarely wandering around near the hotel, apart from to get food on two occasions. There was a lot of extra charges you could get charged, including a suitcase holding fee, which is per bag.

Positives:
We booked the King Suite with the jacuzzi tub during a discounted price & that value for the room was GREAT! Idk if I’d rent it again for the regular price, but for what we got it at was definitely worth it! :D
Negatives:
Just minor things:
-A bulb was out in a lamp
-A knob was broken on another lamp
-One of the knobs for the jacuzzi settings were missing
