Positives:
Andy in the main office was fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. Pool is being remodelled, so they lose a point for not advising me. The location was excellent. You can catch the 217 bus into the main area of Hollywood for $1 each way. The bed was clean, and the room was cleaned daily. Good solid value for money. Supermarket across the road with everything you need. Department store above the supermarket was a discount store which I spent a good 2 hours in shopping, so cheap and worth a look. Thai food around the area is good.
Negatives:
Only that we didn't have a pool. It's very hot in LA during August.

Nice Motel to discover LA and Hollywood in special. You can travel by car or use the public system (bus + Metro). Highlights like the sign or the universal studios are very close. The rooms are big enough for a family of four.

The pool was out of service.

Nice Motel to discover Hollywood...
Positives:
Right next to the metro and supermarket opposite. Security guard on duty at night. Pool was nice and they provided pool towels
Negatives:
No curtains in room and shutters let light through so could not sleep after the sun comes up. It is all very run down and needs a major revamp. Our feet were black from walking in the room so obviously did not mop the floors. No toilet at pool and no courtesy shower room so on last day we could not use the pool. Charging to leave suitcases in luggage room which I have never had anywhere before . The area is not very nice, lots at homeless and undesirable people. I would not recommend this hotel.

Uhhh no breakfast. Glad they did have security all night to keep all the crazy and bums out
Negatives:
I had baby roaches in the bathroom, flies or bees fall in from the bathroom fan. Ice maker broke but it was hot so that can happen but even the lobby one was always broken. When I arrived the lobby had a be back in 15 mins sign but took longer. The girl says nothing & only asks me for my ID and credit card, if you hate the job so bad just quit. When I get to my room it was super hot and the refrigerator was off so it was a sauna in there for most of the day. I have videos but I can’t post them on this
