Rodeway Inn near Coachella

Negatives: Parking lot made for compact cars not my truck or the many others that practically blocked the driving area. No one at front desk to greet people, I went across the parking lot to find someone to help me, (at 10 pm). While waiting someone came in claiming that their key didn’t work, but it did the first time. The same thing happened to me, the card did not work after returning. The room floor and tv looked like it was cleaned with dirty water and then someone walked around on the wet floor. There were black shoe marks, so after shower I scooted around on a towel. The room was very hot. The bathtub was running, when I showered I saw that there was no off, you had to just get the knob in the closest position to off. The blow dryer that I was counting on didn’t work, the wall outlet in the bathroom just didn’t work. The sheets looked dingy. When I went in about the card and when I went back to check out, they are so focused on their paperwork that they don’t listen and have to re-ask what you are trying to convey. In fact, on my way back home I got a call asking my name, what room I stayed in, my demographics etc..

Negatives: Older place, not the best part of town. Air conditioner struggled a bit, but once it hit 10 pm it worked well.

Negatives: As of today, 9/6/2024 I've still not received my $100 deposit. Room was declared cleared of any violations.

Negatives: Drug addicts

Negatives: The room was odd shaped and quite small. Hard to get to the bathroom door right beside the bed. The was very hot in the room and didn’t cool down well even late at night.

Negatives: The pet fee was a surprise, but not a big deal. Still worth it.

Negatives: There air didn't circulate throughout the whole room. You had to sit directly in front of it in order to cool down when coming back from the outside heat. The restroom was warm and there was no fresh water to shower with. There was a cockroach in our room which made us wonder if there were more during our stay. There wasn't, but the fact that we found one made us uneasy the rest of the stay.

Negatives: No working cable or any ability to watch tv

Negatives: Nothing to say!

Negatives: Staff. When I first checked in the lady couldn’t find our reservation for 2 room only for 1 keep in mind we can’t fit 6 people and 1 dog in 1 room. The lady was rude saying bad words under her breath saying unnecessary comments under her breath which made me and my partner feel very uncomfortable. Simply, it’s not okay to throw/slam things because the frustration it causes. Bookings spoke with the lady and honestly she was very rude to him also not okay!
