Motel 6 Inglewood CA

Negatives: I was triple charged in my Credit Card for the Deposit charge, but only received deposited back one deposit, still waiting for my claim to be addressed.

Negatives: Even though the sign said “no smoking” the room smelled like cigarette smoke

Negatives: The only thing I would say is that the security latch in my room was broken but I felt safe with a camera right outside of my door.

Negatives: Front desk staff was a bit rude about early check in. Arrived at 2pm (check in@3pm) to a nearly empty parking lot, and was told there were no rooms available until 3pm. Told everyone arriving for the next hour the same, so at 3pm there was a line of over a dozen people waiting to check in. The young woman never made eye contact with the guests and was very dismissive of any questions.

Negatives: This is the second time we stayed at this particular location. They are very strict about the 3 PM check-in. If you arrive 10 minutes early or an hour early they make you wait until 3 PM even though your room is ready so it seems a little bit petty. There were several other people there waiting so it becomes a long process at 3 PM. Also not sure why some of these hotels can't give you a slightly bigger towel or slightly more/plump pillows. Also no bath soap/shampoo or hairdryer is provided. They take $100 deposit from you which is refunded on checkout but not sure why they need to do it as there's nothing in the room worth taking. Little improvements like this would make a huge difference.

Negatives: The floor was unswept. The air-conditioning didn't work very well. Only half of the lights over the bathroom mirror had lights in them. There is no coffee pot in room or available on site. The area is completely overrun by homeless people. There was someone screaming at the top of his lungs at about 4am walking around the property.
