Location was near many restaurants as well as near by towns to explore. Sitting outside at night enjoying wine was very serene. The onsite restaurant great for breakfast.
Negatives:
The room needed a bit of adjustments the bungalow front door kept getting stuck and the back screen didn’t fully close it needed a wash also.
The room itself was beautiful.

The restaurant seemed like it wasn't even functioning? I'm almost positive my $45 entree was Costco pre-cooked pot roast from a bag. Staff were not attentive. I asked if I could have dinner and they said "Well what do you want?" - I had to ask for a menu as though that was bizarre to do in a restaurant. It would be fine if I were paying diner prices for the meal, but I expected a nicer experience based on advertising.
The furniture on the patio had bird poo all over it and looked like it hadn't been washed or cared for in a long time. The pool was covered in leaves and looked swampy and deserted.
It felt like I had snuck into a closed property and no one was expecting me to be there.

Visiting a friend who lives nearby, this was a perfect overnight and wished we could have stayed longer. The room was comfortable and nicely appointed. We had a small sitting area outside our room that looked over the lake where we watched turtles swimming around. Perfect for starting to the day.

great location, the room had a great view. The lake view was perfect. And literally, that is all you gonna get good about this place.
Negatives:
Not worth the price. The bathroom was full of dust, spider web in the room. The pillows are super uncomfortable, you should throw those! Instead of being soft, it feels like it's filled with luttle balls! A lot of people book this place for the view you could get at night and staying cozy next to the firepit. The restaurant was CLOSED Monday (supposedly on Tuesday too), the firepits were not on, the light string was not on. This feels like false advertisment of ''oh look how cool it can get at night''- but not Monday or Tuesday. The staff is grumpy, it looks like they hate being there.
The bathroom caulking next to the sink looks like it was done by a 1-year old, unbelievably cheap looking- for $215 a night. The towels are soft but don't absorb moisture- weird AF. The toilet paper was not replaced, it was just a bit left from the previous guests- WTF! The carpet was stained. Definetly this was not worth it, over $200 for what if you cannot get a good sleep- at least
