Pacific Edge Hotel on Laguna Beach

Negatives: Rate on the first room was too high given the lack of quality.

Negatives: Very rundown. Rust was very visible in the bathroom. Carpet wasnt clean.

Negatives: Rooms were a bit sterile.

Negatives: Elevator broke down for a part of our stay. Only valley parking available

Negatives: The room was dirty and did not have a window for ventilation. We found someone’s nail clippings on the nightstand.

Negatives: Our shower pressure wasn’t the best, toilet didn’t flush well.

Negatives: I was initially delighted until I realized that my sheets were not clean. I promptly contacted the front desk and inquired about the possibility of having housekeeping come and change them, Unfortunately, their response was that there was no housekeeping available at the moment. I had to wait until the following morning to have my sheets changed or alternatively, change them myself. This response from the hotel has left me feeling extremely disappointed. Also, when I brought up the issue with the front desk, they questioned why I didn't notify them earlier. However, it is important to note that this was my first night at the hotel and there was no way for me to have known that the sheets were not clean beforehand. I had to make my own bed. This level of service is not at all what I had expected or anticipated.

Negatives: Adjoining suite! Door didn’t seal and the couple occupying it got drunk and were arguing every night and we heard everything! Fine if it is your own family but not if you don’t know these people! Very unpleasant mar on an otherwise lovely stay!
