not much. Bad experience.
Negatives:
Room reserved was not the room we were given. Dirty bathrooms with hairs and shoe prints. Understaffed breakfast and food was consistently empty. Had to wait multiple times during breakfast for food to come out. Atdf did not communicate between shifts.

Lighting in the room could be more flexible (it was only either completely bright or completely dark) and the controls were not very intuitive to find in the dark.

Holiday Inn Express has a good reputation. It had an outdoor pool and it was sunny weather while we were there.
Negatives:
The TV remote didn’t work, the bathroom sink did not drain, and it was disgusting. Brushing your teeth in 2 day old water was awful. We told a housekeeper about the sink but she never came in the room, not fixed, no new towels or coffee pods replaced. We got dressed for a swim but we were told the pool was closed for “maintenance.” The breakfast was mediocre and the pancakes tasted like rubber. The room had extension
cords for the lights running under the furniture.
For almost $400 for 2 nights we felt it was not up
to quality compared to other Holiday Inn Express.

Holiday Inn Express is a Value for money, No frills options with clean property and courteous staff. Was an overnight stay to visit San Fancisco Premium Outlets, which was a short Uber ride away. Basic amenities & coffee making machine & supplies provided
