Lighting in the room could be more flexible (it was only either completely bright or completely dark) and the controls were not very intuitive to find in the dark.

Holiday Inn Express has a good reputation. It had an outdoor pool and it was sunny weather while we were there.
Negatives:
The TV remote didn’t work, the bathroom sink did not drain, and it was disgusting. Brushing your teeth in 2 day old water was awful. We told a housekeeper about the sink but she never came in the room, not fixed, no new towels or coffee pods replaced. We got dressed for a swim but we were told the pool was closed for “maintenance.” The breakfast was mediocre and the pancakes tasted like rubber. The room had extension
cords for the lights running under the furniture.
For almost $400 for 2 nights we felt it was not up
to quality compared to other Holiday Inn Express.

Holiday Inn Express is a Value for money, No frills options with clean property and courteous staff. Was an overnight stay to visit San Fancisco Premium Outlets, which was a short Uber ride away. Basic amenities & coffee making machine & supplies provided

The location of the facility. The staff who checked us in was helpful and friendly. The food at breakfast was good.

Get rid of the mice and the attitude of the managers. My daughter had to change rooms at 11:00 a.m. mice running around in the room. When I requested compensation for the room I was told by two staff personnel that they would have the manager(s) call me. That hasn't happened. You lost a customer and those who will ask me about my stay. The elevator was inoperable.

They didnt clean rooms every day also can of soda pops up in refrigerator we asked them clean three times then they cleaned it in fourth day. We were have to use stairs for three days because the elevator was broken.
