Positives:
- Hotel is clean, rooms are clean and good.
- View from lobby's 70th floor is amazing also rooms are located on high floors so room views are also fascinating.
- Location is good if you have courage to use LA subway...
Negatives:
- Always take a look at your credit card statement and never trust them. They overcharged extras to my credit card and thankfully, I checked my credit card statement and requested a refund. They should always look for guest approval by sending an invoice before charging anything to guest's credit card. Frankly, I would never trust this hotel and give my credit card.
- Scale in the room was not working (probably battery), I have called reception several times for fix. They promised that scale will be changed during my every call but they didn't. I am surprised that they didn't act on that despite several calls from my side.
- Safety box was out of battery as well but they changed it.
- Many things are broken (such as sunbeds), hotel maintenance is very poor and this is relatively a new hotel.
- Breakfast is way too expensive and especially price/performance is the worst. Variety of the food for the breakfast is one of the worst for this level of a hotel. They are charging extra for omlette and topping, I really don't know why because all ingredients like egg, milk etc. already at the buffet. If they are charging for chef's service fee but not ingredients then why are they charging for toppings. They even charge extra if you ask for Latte, Cappuccino etc.
-There is always a long queue in front of reception.
-Streets around hotels are not safe or at least I didn't feel safe at all.
