1. The bed had blood/brown stain. Toilet wasn’t clean.
2. We checked our luggage after checking out and my Rimowa was broken when it was handed back to me. The key pad fell off...
3. Boyfriend wants to surprise me with flowers in the room for our 5th year Annie. He called both hotel and floral shop in advance for giving instructions and specifically asked hotel to deliver the flower in the room. But hotel called and ruined the surprise because he had to answer the call. Wasn’t very thoughtful.

In rooms facing the Hollywood sign, traffic is loudly heard which disturbed my sleep even though we stayed in the 14th floor.
Upon checkout, they tried to charge us for room service which we didnt use. I advice to check carefully.

Positives:
We really enjoyed the spaciousness of our room, great shower, lighting and comfortable bed. Also, Chris, one of the front desk agents gave us a good suggesion for Chinese food from China Lites, and the other 2 agents (can't remember their names) were also friendly and helpful when we needed to get some change for a large bill. Additionally, although we only got to take advantage of it 1 time, it was really nice to have that Happy Hour cocktail and a large space in which to relax by the bar. Lastly, we enjoyed a few meals at the restaurant downstairs and also at Clark's Diner a short distance away on Franklin St. The last time we stayed at the Everly Kimpton, it was nearly 3 years ago, and I think it was even better this time. Thank you.

I didn't like that the fitness facility was so dark and that there wasn't much space to stretch. I appreciate that the hotel provided mats and a foam roller, but there just wasn't a lot of room to use it without being in someone's way who was also using the gym at the same time.
