Location, corner room, choice of restaurants and the gym.
Negatives:
Very disappointing the swimming pool was unavailable for one of the days due to preparations for a private function. It was an extremely hot day (35 degrees). Hotel guests pay hundreds of dollars to stay and should have priority and full access to all the facilities.

Comfortable stay at a nice...
Positives:
Not really good options to select from. The quality of food was terrible.
Negatives:
No access to the pool. The rooms were to small. The staff wasn’t knowledgeable and not helpful. Everyone told you something different. I saw so many including myself with complaints.

This wasn’t a good experience...
Positives:
The view from my room and the view from the 34th floor while eating breakfast, but y'all should give that $30 dollar gift voucher a bit more thought for Family's cuz only 1 person out if the family gets the $30 but everyone else pays normal price at the breakfast place $117 is what mu friend paid for him and his wife and 2 kids with that $30 gift voucher

Very happy with everything.And the most important the Staff were Amazing.Extremely helpful,professional and patient.I would love to say a Big Thank You to all of them at the Reception and specially Mr.Mac Ward who was extremely understanding,polite and extra professional and helpful .He was one of the reasons we extended our stay twice.
We will definitely come back soon and we already recommend Moxy Hotel to our family and friends.Highly recommended,just because of the Staff at the Reception working there.Thank you very much all of you.You made our stay Amazing and Unforgettable.

Location was perfect for my event at the Convention Center. 3 minute walk, just across the street.
There are also a ton of amazing food options within walking distance or a couple of Metro stops.
Negatives:
It's incredible, bordering on unbelievable, that one of the biggest hotel chains in the world would have the most uncomfortable pillows known to mankind. And yet, that's what you'll find at the Moxy. We should have stopped at the nearby Target to buy something that was actually functional. Instead, I struggled to get comfortable enough for more than a couple of hours' sleep per night.
There's a single blanket/comforter on the bed, which makes for a quicker clean/turn. However, it's entirely too heavy for that room. You cannot make the room cold enough to justify using it.
Oh, and whoever decided that a separate bathroom was unnecessary as long as you have a lightly frosted glass door in front of your toilet should be jailed. Immediately.

Convenient for work, terrible for...
Positives:
I stayed at the Moxy because I was attending a convention at the LA Convention Center. The Moxy is located across the street and is a two minute walk. The hotel was clean, the staff were AMAZING and super helpful and friendly. The hotel restaurant selection was great - at least seven to choose from and a variety of cuisines. The only delta about the restaurants on site is that most seem open at around 8:00 p.m. which was too late for me so I explored the surrounding area which also has a variety of cuisine selections. The hotel also has a coffee shop in the hotel which is nice and very convenient in the mornings. The coffee is good and they also offer food and snack items. I traveled alone and found the surrounding area to be safe. I walked to access other restaurants and felt completely comfortable being solo even during evening hours. I will definitely stay at this hotel again!
Negatives:
Restaurants open at 8:00. Need to open earlier! No fridge in the room. This is essential since there are so many restaurants onsite.
