The hotel looks great, but that's about it unfortunately. It seems like a very LA hotel in that it focuses solely on the looks but the actual functionality and comfort does not match.
Negatives:
Room is laughably small. I'm 6'5" and I barely fit in the walkway to get to the bed, if you have luggage there's nowhere to put it without tripping over it during your stay. The bed is lumpy and uncomfortable and while the pillows look fluffy, the fill disappears the second you place your head on them. Along with the AC that can't go below 68F and the giant windows, you basically live in a tiny microwave (which the room doesnt have) during your stay. I barely slept.

Positives:
The room was clean and bed’s were comfortable. Sunset Blvd, Hollywood Blvd walking distance. Good selection of restaurants and cafe’ near by. Trader Joes Supermarket very convenient and close. Good sized roof top area with views of area, HOLLYWOOD sign.
Negatives:
A little expensive, parking was very expensive $50/night, you can come and go. Parking station next door for $20/night, one entry one depart, which would have suited my visit better. No hooks in bathroom to hang towels and no ironing facilities… perhaps not something that would concern most.

Overnight stop, before departure from...
Negatives:
Had to change rooms because the AC wasn’t working and the room was very musty. Then the pull-out vanity table was not working in the second room. After checking out, the hotel charged us for the broken vanity (which was broken when we arrived) without informing us. While trying to dispute the charge when we discovered it, the hotel staff was evasive, constantly hanging up on us and pushing us off to the next person. They ultimately refused to take responsibility for their mistake.

Positives:
Friendly and very helpful staff who provided service with a smile and assisted with any questions we had about activities we wanted to do in the area. The food was phenomenal. Every meal I had was made fresh and you could taste it and it was also very reasonable. In addition, they offered coupons to help with the cost.

I have no complaints!

There is no sound isolation, so you can hear everything behind the door or sound from outside, so definitely, it's not a place to have a decent rest.

Positives:
The restaurant has good food a little on the pricey side though.
The rooms are clean.
We asked and got a crib for our toddler.
Restaurant staff on the first floor were very nice.
Negatives:
The front desk staff gave my laundry to the wrong laundry service which resulted me leaving without a bag full of clothes. Didn’t help at all with retrieving it. Received packages after I checked out although I was told they will decline it. To reach them to sort things out also been a mess.
The hotel is close to clubs so expect noise at weekends.
The roof bar staff was also very slow our waiter disappeared and after trying to get the check from other staff member he actually told us to wait for the waitress and we did for another 15 mins.
