Friendly and very helpful staff who provided service with a smile and assisted with any questions we had about activities we wanted to do in the area. The food was phenomenal. Every meal I had was made fresh and you could taste it and it was also very reasonable. In addition, they offered coupons to help with the cost.

The restaurant has good food a little on the pricey side though.
The rooms are clean.
We asked and got a crib for our toddler.
Restaurant staff on the first floor were very nice.
Negatives:
The front desk staff gave my laundry to the wrong laundry service which resulted me leaving without a bag full of clothes. Didn’t help at all with retrieving it. Received packages after I checked out although I was told they will decline it. To reach them to sort things out also been a mess.
The hotel is close to clubs so expect noise at weekends.
The roof bar staff was also very slow our waiter disappeared and after trying to get the check from other staff member he actually told us to wait for the waitress and we did for another 15 mins.

The hotel is about a 20 minute walk to some of the more well known sites.
Negatives:
There were hidden fees. I paid upfront and when I got to the hotel they asked for a deposit of $450. I asked what it was for and was told that it was in case of room damage. I was told I could expect this payment back within 5 days of checkout. I checked out today and there were LA tax fees and amenities charges added to my bill (the amenity is the pool - you pay per day for the possible use of a pool!). I am apparently going to receive just a small amount of this deposit back to cover these charges. While I was questioning this, there was another couple next to me doing the same and also someone on the phone with the same query.
As far as I can see Booking.com don't highlight this either. So, what would have been a good holiday has been soured.
Another issue is that the only place to hang clothes is above the coffee maker- it's OK but you can't hang more than about 5 items - if I wanted to live out of my suitcase, I wouldn't have paid hundreds of dollars a night for the privilege!
The room was also very dusty.

This hotel is fantastic. The location is great, located near Hollywood, it really is in walking distance. The hotel is very clean, modern, and super comftorable. After reading some reviews I was skeptical on staying here, but it is genuinely a great place to stay. We didn't have any issues at all staying here.
There is one tip I would give to future travellers. If you have a car and are looking at parking your vehicle at the hotel, DON'T. It is very expensive. Around the back of the hotel is a parking lot that is comopletely safe and has CCTV all the time, the hotel charge something like $55 per night, but the parking I found around the back was $15 per day. We left our car at this car park and used other bits of transport, like the scooters, to get around in the city. We then used our car to go Santa Monica etc.
Honestly, this hotel is top tier. Book it. Enjoy your stay. Have a wicked trip.

Due to a event… rooftop bar was not available, and although we ordered 2 glasses of wine at the inside bar that were on the menu listed at $18 per glass, we were charged $20 per glass… and would be nice if there were simple bar snacks to munch on.
