1) Location! It's just the best. Outside the hotel is the Hollywood walk of fame, different tourist spots, souvenir shops, and In 'N Out Burger is just walking distance. 2) Historic feel of the hotel. The architecture and the events that took place here are just amazing.
Negatives:
The room was a bit small. There is no kettle in the room. There is no place to refill our water bottles. The bathtub drain is very slow, so water accumulates at your feet when you shower.

The hotel history was amazing. the location is amazing. the pool is amazing. the staff was very professional.
Negatives:
Room 804 was a nice size. however, the shower dripped all night long. The maintenance guy worked on it the next day. but it persisted and was annoying. we had to keep the door closed so we could sleep

Positives:
Great location and easily reachable by metro. Our room was great, clean and had a very comfortable bed and a giant shower. Pool area looked nice but we never went there except for a little peek.
Negatives:
Elevators are just annoying. Always long waits and sometimes the elevator is too crowded already when it finally arrives (8 people limit). During our stay there was a (movie/ TV/ whatever) shoot in the lobby so we couldn’t access this otherwise beautiful space for most of our stay.
