We liked the pool area, the history of the hotel, and the byredo products in the room.
Negatives:
We didn’t like that the elevators were broken and took us 20 minutes every time we needed to go to our room on the 3rd floor. No stairs available so we were forced to wait. Extremely frustrating. The Latin Film Festival was taking place and the lobby was so packed we had to walk through a mob to get to the elevator and then had to wait 20 minutes to take the elevator. Woke up multiple times in the night to loud noises outside the room. Washroom floor in the room was dirty. Room was much smaller than expected from online photos. Very crowded.

Filled with nostalgia and Hollywood history the hotel is in the perfect location to the main Hollywood blvd attractions. The staff were lovely and the restaurant very tasty!

I loved the pool area and spent most my time there. I thought the location was great. Having the parking lot across the street was great to save on valet. Valet too expensive for people staying there. The room was nice.. really no complaints. Very cool Old Hollywood vibe. Check in was great...lobby bar was great...The Pool is definitely the highlight. The bar food and drinks at pool area great and the Rose cafe for breakfast.
Negatives:
Would have been nice to have an early- 6-8 am coffee service in the lobby. I did not like the feel of the dinner in front... did not feel clean like the cafe by the pool. The cafe by the pool did not serve free coffee till 8 am.

Check in was great. The lobby and restaurants were beautiful. The bed was very comfortable, and the cleaning staff were expert.
Negatives:
The design of the room was not good. The bed had four large posts that nearly touched the ceiling, one of which obscured the flatscreen tv on the wall. It was not possible to view the tv from any angle in the room without the obstruction. A normal bed with no posts would solve the issue. The air conditioning worked well, and cooled the room when needed but the noise from the air conditioning was too loud and rattled. In the bathroom, the tiny, child sized toilet was not adequate for a grown adult.
