It would be helpful to have the cleaning net available. The wind blows small amounts of debris and bugs into pool. I would have gladly scooped the debris and enjoyed my dip in the pool more. We improvised with my pool noodle.

Breakfast met our expectations, offering a variety of cereals, waffles, and fruit, as well as the usual coffee and tea.

The motel was undergoing renovation and there were no ground floor rooms available.

This was a convenient stopover...
Negatives:
Upon arrival @ Lost Hills Days Inn, at about 3:00pm the hotel did not have electricity. The Lobby had no lights and the Clerk indicated they did not have power and the lights and air conditioning was not working (the outside air temperature was 105 degrees). Due to the loss of power the room clerk would not check us in, therefore we canceled our reservation. The room clerk stated due to the loss of power the computer was down, she stated she would cancel it when the power was restored.
Days Inn Lost Hills charged my, on file credit card $94.34. They refused to refund the $94.34 they charged in error.
FYI: Days Inn Lost Hills appears as they may be renting the rooms by the hour.

They didnt have the A/C on when we arrived so the room took hours to cool down. It was 116 outside so the room was really hot too.
